Open Mic

An open mic facilitated by Mip, where creatives can share whatever they’re working on. No pressure, no polish.
Musicians, poets, storytellers, comedians, and first-timers are encouraged to share.
Sets are typically 10–15 minutes to ensure everyone gets a turn.

Zine Jam!

We make a collaborative zine based on a theme and print copies for the next event (PDF made available online). Basic materials provided.

Song Circle (Campfire Style!)

Ever been at the campfire and struggled to keep up? Let’s learn some to play some songs together casually! With a range of styles and instruments, we can learn to play together as a group.

Arts Programming & Creative Workshops

Other creative offerings on the menu are:

• Paint Night (expressive, intuitive, not realistic painting pressure)
• Craft and/or Collage Night (this can be seasonally themed, like making holiday ornament)
• Collaborative Songwriting (let’s write a song together for the creative commons!)
• Songwriting for Beginners (learn the nuts and bolts of writing a song)
